Maldives private-island with golf water villas under US$400 per night
With over 75 Maldives private-island resorts that feature water villas and bundalows, it’s no surprise that there are many different resort styles represented. Many people prefer a small and quiet boutique resort with fewer than 30 rooms, and there are plenty of those to choose from in the Maldives. Those wanting a larger resort with a huge list of activities, including a small golf course, should be happy to hear that it’s also one of the cheapest resorts in the area.
Water villas at the Kuredu Island Resort start at just US$325 per night, including breakfast and most activities in the summer season. But another advantage of this place is that you can customize your package to include dinner as well for only US$42 more per couple (quite a deal in the Maldives), all the way up to all-inclusive plans (that include alcohol) for just over US$400 per night per couple.

The water villas at Kuredu Island Resort
The water villas here are larger than average in this price range at 70 square meters (753 square feet), making them about twice the size of a typical luxury hotel room in a city. Each includes a 4-poster king-size bed, a 32″ flat-screen TV with a sound system, air conditioning, a minibar, tea & coffee making facilities, sun beds, beach towels, and even kimonos to wear while lazying around the room.
They are all located over a gorgeous clear-water lagoon on a private part of the island, so guests here have an exclusiving feeling while still having access to the many entertainment and dining options on the island itself.
Endless activities, including golf
That’s right, there’s a 6-hole, par-3 golf course located right on Kuredu Island. The green fees are extra, though a round of golf on the pitch & putt course is included in some of the all-inclusive packages.
There’s also tennis courts, volleyball courts on the beach, diving, snorkeling, water skiing, catamarans, and a long list of other water sports and activities. Many are included in all packages while some of them do cost extra.
16 restaurants and bars
On Kuredu Island you’ll find 7 individual restaurants and 9 additional bars and lounges, so it’ll be easy to find something to suit your mood at any given moment. Of course, there’s also a luxury spa that features a wide range of treatments and therapies.
