With a total of 151 rooms, the Joy Island Maldives Resort is a large resort that offers plenty to do and see, as well as great dining options. Out of the 151 rooms, 60 of them reside over the water and offer direct views of the Indian Ocean. Each of the lagoon villas feature a private bathroom, wooden steps that lead directly into the ocean below from the back sundeck, and a king size bed situated next to a seating area.

One important thing to note is that the resort offers an inclusive stay. With this, guests will have access to 3 restaurants and a bar where you can enjoy your drinks on the beach. If you're interested, there's a 'Spa & Dine' package, among other things, at the resort's on-site spa, making for a very relaxing and romantic experience if paired with a couple's massage.
