Most overwater resorts cater with bungalows and villas that house a luxury bedroom in addition to a seating area and private deck, but did you know that there are also resorts that take it up a notch and offer two bedrooms, and sometimes even three bedroom suites? These resorts do have a higher nightly rate and are considered to be in the super luxury category, but are well worth the money if you have it.
This is because these larger villas are perfect for families and large groups, with many of the resorts below offering some sort of children friendly amenities, whether that be beds, a Kid's Club, or kid approved menu options. The resorts below also feature spas, dining options, and plenty of fun ocean activities to partake in. With that said, if you're traveling with a group of adults, you'll still find plenty of privacy as the bungalows listed below are very private already with either privacy walls or ocean separating each individual bungalow.
If you're traveling with four people and would prefer to stay in a one bedroom suite, then you'll want to look into the Bora Bora bungalows for four people and the Maldives villas for four people. For more information about overwater resorts in both Bora Bora and the Maldives that offer more than one bedroom, continue reading below.
