many of us, a large photo of an overwater bungalow resort is as close as we are likely to ever get to them. We are adding photo galleries to each resort page, starting with Bora Bora and Moorea, so I've been spending many hours lately going through these magnificent and inspirational images.
I think most of us are easily hypnotized by the aerial photos of the resorts, but one particular photo I came across hit me in a different way so I thought I'd share it with everyone. It's from the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort and Thalasso Spa, which is one of two InterContinental hotels on the island, both of which are easily located on this map of Bora Bora overwater resorts.
The limiting factor with these resorts is that children must be under the age of 15. We stayed at the Thalasso with our 11 and 14 year old in March of 2018. We tried to rebook for March of 2019 and was told that the property would not accommodate our (by then) 15 year old. Very frustrating!
