Velidhu Island Resort – Maldives
Featuring 20 water bungalows (in a total of 10 structures) in addition to 80 island and beach bungalows, the Velidhu Island Resort is on a small private island that is kept immaculately clean. The house reef is one of the best in the area so snorkelers and divers should be very satisfied.
The Velidhu Island Resort operates primarily on a half-board basis (breakfast and dinner included in the price) with only one restaurant, yet it gets raves for the variety and quality of food, which is rare for a resort in this price category. There’s no pool or kid’s club so it’s best suited to couples and even honeymooners, and the modest prices make this one hard to beat if it has what you are looking for in a resort.
The Velidhu Island Resort is located in the South Ari Atoll, about 70 kilometers west of Malé International Airport in the Maldives.
