Formerly known as the Sheraton Moorea Lagoon Resort, this Hilton property is a solid choice for an overwater bungalow vacation within the South Pacific. The location of the resort on the north shore of Moorea is extremely scenic and convenient for those who like the idea of visiting other shops and restaurants on the same island.

While it may not be as luxurious as some of the 5-star resorts that are located on nearby Bora Bora, the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa offers great value in addition to an extremely long list of features and free activities. The overwater bungalows here are larger than most in the area, and the service is friendly and professional, as you'd expect at a Hilton resort.

WHAT THE REVIEWS SAY

Reviews for the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa are quite solid considering this is not among the most expensive overwater bungalow resorts in the South Pacific. Previous guests are impressed by the large and well appointed rooms. Some mention that the food in the restaurants at the resort can get a bit monotonous, but others point out that you can call many nearby restaurants for a free pickup and return, so this doesn’t seem like much of an issue.

A number of past guests also point out that the non-overwater rooms are also quite nice and can offer even more privacy, so it might be worth considering spending some time in both types of rooms to moderate cost if that’s an issue. Some guests also note that check in was fast and easy, a big plus for those who want to start their vacation right away.
