Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort now offers overwater bungalows

The Sandals brand is doing it again. After a very successful opening of their newly appointed overwater bungalows at their Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Sandals is now almost ready to open up their Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort overwater bungalows. At the moment, the rooms are available for booking, though guests won’t be able to stay in one until mid May. This news comes shortly after Sandals Resort International announced that they are in the planning and construction stages of their Sandals South Coast Jamaica overwater bungalows.

Each of the 9 overwater Honeymoon Butler Bungalows feature an entertainment system, a large 4-poster king size bed, Wi-Fi and the combination of both a butler service and 24 hour room service. In addition, guests will also find the necessities such as air conditioning, a coffee and tea maker, an iron and ironing board alongside various luxury items that include slippers, his and her robes, a Red Lane Spa amenity kit, a make up mirror and a pillow menu. But it doesn’t just stop there. Proving their commitment to providing the best of the best, Sandals also offers a living room, a tranquility soaking tub, a refrigerator outfitted with water, juice and various sodas, a private outdoor shower, a bar filled with premium liquor and a glass floor cutout that provides a view of the underwater world without having to get wet.

Booking is now available for arrival dates starting May 15, 2017

The announcement of these overwater bungalows first came in 2012, but construction on those never began. Suddenly in early 2017 Sandals announced that the overwater bungalows are being built and that bookings are accepted for dates starting May 15, 2017. Room rates start at US$2,156 per night for two people, all-inclusive.
