Maldives Jacuzzi water villa for US$480 per couple, full board, in March
With December through March representing the high season in the Maldives, it's not easy to find really good rates for water villas, but the good news is that those who can wait until March will find very appealing promotions waiting for them. So you can still travel in the high season, when it's probably still freezing where you live, and you will pay prices much closer to the off season deals available in summer.
Today's featured deal is at the Meeru Island Resort & Spa, which is known for being one of the best-value resorts in the Maldives. They are offering large Jacuzzi water villas including 3 meals a day for two guests for only US$480 per night in the month of March. During February the rates are much higher, if you can even find availability.
A Jacuzzi Water Villa with full board for two people at the Meeru Island Resort & Spa for only US$480 per night in March.
This promotion is only available through our booking partner, Agoda.com, and it includes free cancellation so you can sort out your flights later. Of course this rate is subject to availability, and you can check your own dates directly on the Agoda page for the Meeru Island Resort.
Huge water villas at amazing values
With 106 water villas, the Meeru Island Resort & Spa has more than any other resort in the Maldives, and the second most of any resort in the world. They have an additional 180 island rooms and suites, and with this size they are able to offer much better rates than the small private-island resorts nearby. For this reason, you have many more options for activities and entertainment, and your holiday money goes much farther.
These Jacuzzi Water Villas are 85 square meters, including a large separate bedroom area, and a sitting room with a comfortable sofa and a DVD player as part of its entertainment system. These water villas are about triple the size of a standard hotel room in a city, including a private sun deck with stairs down into the crystal clear lagoon.
A dizzying number of food and drink choices
The small boutique resorts are great for honeymooners and shorter visits, but many of them have only one restaurant, so it can feel a bit stale having 3 meals per day there. At the Meeru Island Resort, they have a total of 14 restaurants and bars (including a disco) so you can choose from different buffets, or a coffee shop, or a grill restaurant if that's what you are in the mood for.
As one of the larger Maldives resorts you also can choose from virtually every activity imaginable. There is great diving and snorkeling, plus many other water sports choices. But also a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course and a driving range. There's also beach volleyball, nature trails, and much more. At these room rates and considering that most of it is included, this is the best high season deal in the Maldives.
