Maldives 4-star all-inclusive Jacuzzi Water Villa for US$397 per night
Since summer is part of the low season in the Maldives, in spite of its near-perfect weather, this is the time to find the best bargains of the year. Today’s spotlight deal is easily one of the best we’ve seen in a long time because it ticks all the boxes, all at a very low price.
The Veligandu Island Resort has 64 water villas, including 54 of these with a private Jacuzzi, and right now they are offering free upgrades to the Jacuzzi Water Villas if you book the cheaper ones. Better still, this is with the all-inclusive option, and it’s one of the highest rated resorts in the Maldives based on guest reviews.
A Jacuzzi Water Villa for US$397 per night for two people with the all-inclusive option at the Veligandu Island Resort in the Maldives.
This deal is for many dates in the upcoming months, only on our booking partner, Agoda. There is no minimum number of nights for this deal, so you can stay for only a few days at this rate, and there is free cancellation. Check your own dates on the Agoda page for the Veligandu Resort for availability.
The best deal on Jacuzzi water villas
There are about 20 Maldives resorts that offer private Jacuzzis out on the sun decks of water villas, and most of them start at around US$600 per night even at resorts without all-inclusive meal plans. The Veligandu Island Resort is currently the cheapest of these even with the all-inclusive option, which would normally make us suspicious if not for the glowing reviews it continues to get.
These water villas are quite large at 926 sq ft (86 m²) and include an upgraded bedroom suite. Check out the video tour at the bottom of the main Veligandu page to see what these villas are really like. It’s hard to believe these villas are going for under US$400 per night for two people, but they are.
Great list of options for a smaller resort
Another reason why the Veligandu gets such great reviews is that it offers nearly everything that even the largest Maldives resorts offer, in spite of its boutique size. With only 76 total villas it’s amazing that they are able to offer two restaurants and two separate bars plus beach dining experiences.
Of course there is great scuba diving and snorkeling plus catamarans and kayaks and surf bikes and even a freshwater infinity-edge swimming pool. You might find it hard to get a match going, but there’s also a football pitch if you happen to come with your team.
