A large overwater resort featuring 60 overwater suites and 60 land based rooms, the Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa is an impressive luxury vacation selection. At this 5-star all-inclusive resort, you'll find lots of different activities to join in on, ranging from the always popular snorkeling and scuba diving to tennis, kayaking and jet skiing. When scrolling through the pictures, the resort easily looks like it's better suited to the romantically inclined, but there is an impressively large kids club on-site (with babysitting), meaning that families are welcome too. In fact, there are 11 Family villas within the resort.
The rooms themselves aim to impress with an outdoor shower, air conditioning, a minibar, a large terrace, a private jacuzzi and a nicely sized private pool. You'll also find private steps that lead directly into the lagoon water below from the terrace above, allowing for easy access to the ocean right from the comfort of your room.
