Best Maldives deals for November: Water villas from US$540 per night
November marks the first month of the high season in the Maldives, so finding a bargain on a private-island water villa gets trickier. The good news is that the season tends to begin slowly, so those who can come earlier in the month can still get some great deals.
Below you’ll find the three best deals we can find for November in the Maldives. Two of these include three meals per day for each of two guests per villa. When you consider that it’s pretty normal for visitors to spend around US$100 per day per person on food, not including alcohol, these rates are more obviously good deals. The weather is pretty much perfect as well, although that’s nearly always the case in the Maldives.
Best Maldives water villa deals for November
Meeru Island Resort & Spa (4 stars)
Jacuzzi water villas with full board from US$540 per night for two
With 106 water villas, Meeru Island Resort is always one of the most competitively priced resorts in the Maldives. They also have 180 island rooms and villas, so it’s a large and busy private island with more activity and recreational options than most.
The place consistently gets great reviews from past guests, which might be surprising considering it is one of the more affordable Maldives hotels. Actually, a regular water villa with no Jacuzzi starts at US$492 per night, and Jaccuzi Beach Villas start at US$421, also including 3 meals per day for two guests. The Jacuzzi Water Villas start at US$540 per night (US$604 including taxes), which is quite a deal including all meals and most activities like this. In the lower price ranges, this is definitely one to consider.
Veligandu Island Resort & Spa (4 stars)
Water villas with full board from US$600 per night for two
Another premium resort that earns excellent reviews from nearly every past guest, the Veligandu Island Resort & Spa has water villas with full board starting at only US$600 per night (US$672 including taxes) in November. This is a smaller private-island resort with well under 100 total villas so it has a more intimate feel to it.
The island itself is quite small and most of the rooms are water villas, but still there is an infinity pool, a scuba center, and plenty of water sports options. Considering the 3 included meals per day here, this is another that is a better deal than you might first realize. Food and drinks in the Maldives are quite expensive, particularly at smaller boutique resorts similar to this one.
Anantara Veli Resort & Spa (5 stars)
Water villas from US$544 per night for two
While breakfast is the only included meal of the day at the Anantara Veli Resort & Spa, it’s important to note that this is a 5-star resort with rather large and luxurious water villas. In November they start at only US$544 per night (US$663 including taxes) for two people, and the reviews here are uniformly excellent as well.
There is a sister resort right across the large turquoise lagoon, and you can go from one to the other on a free 2-minute boat ride. This way you get to use facilities at both resorts, and still have maximum privacy when you are out on your own water villa that isn’t part of the public area. For a lot of luxury at a modest price in November, this one is probably the best value.
