JA Manafaru Maldives

Waldorf Astoria Maldives

Found on a small island surrounded by clear warm waters, the JA Manafaru Maldives (formerly the Beach House at Iruveli) is a great choice for those seeking a trip off the beaten path. Featuring 48 water villas in addition to 35 beach villas and suites, this private-island resort is one of the more remote in the Maldives, which makes it a little tougher to reach, but more special once you arrive. This is a very well run 5-star resort that outdoes most similar resorts in the area.

For its size, the JA Manafaru Maldives also has a great variety of activities and dining choices. Honeymoon or romantic getaway visitors will feel all the privacy they need, but there are plenty of activities and nearby excursions to keep everyone busy for weeks. Those looking for something special with great service and large rooms should find this to be a good choice.

The JA Manafaru Maldives is located on a small private island in the Ha Alifu Atoll, approximately 350 kilometers north of the main island of Malé in the Maldives.

What the reviews say

The JA Manafaru Maldives gets mostly very good reviews, although a few previous guests have pointed out some confusion upon arrival, which could easily have been caused by an external booking problem. Generally the island and its remoteness is very highly regarded, and the rooms, staff, service, and food all get good marks as well.

Considering the JA Manafaru Maldives is more in the moderate price range, its reviews are more positive than similar properties in the Maldives, so it looks like a solid choice for a honeymoon or any other kind of romantic getaway.
