Update

You can now reserve one of the overwater bungalows for bookings in November 2017 and beyond. Rates start at US$2,159 per night.

Plans for the 12 overwater bungalows are vague at the moment, but the resort did say that they will have the rooms connected via a heart shaped pier, which adds more character to the project.

Alongside the new bungalows, the resort will be adding a new bar named Latitudes that will be situated over the water as well. Here guests will have the opportunity to enjoy their freshly made drinks in hammocks that have been suspended over the sea. In addition, another bar choice will be added. This one will be called Bar-Tender and will uniquely serve guests drinks as they wade up to the bar while still in the ocean itself.

But there’s even more. If you’re visiting as a couple who is planning on getting married, you’ll find that you have the option of having your dream wedding in an over the water wedding chapel that offers panoramic water views alongside a beautiful glass floor aisle. Couples will also have the option of arriving to the chapel on a private boat, making it even more romantic.

You’ll also find a wide variety of activities to enjoy including the ever famous scuba diving and snorkeling, beach volleyball, table tennis, lawn chess, basketball and more. If you love to workout and don’t want to miss any sessions, you won’t have to as all guests have free use of the resort’s gym. You’ll also find a lovely spa on-site offering a beauty salon, a yoga and pilates studio, a steam room and a few luxurious plunge pools to enjoy. The resort also features three different pools to swim your afternoon away in, one of which is considered to be Jamaica’s largest resort pool.

Those who love to stay up a bit later at night will also find plenty to do as the resort often plays hosts to nightly entertainment including Talent night, Caribbean night, White night and offers lives bands and shows to enjoy alongside your chilled drinks.
