5-Star Hilton Maldives water villas for US$339 per night for two
We’ve featured the Maldives Hilton Resort before, but it’s worth mentioning it again because this hotel is often among the very best bargains in the Maldives. This is a 5-star resort with a great reputation and huge water villas that go for around US$700 or more during busy weeks, but are less than half that price during slower weeks.
Most resorts have promotional prices that are perhaps 20% lower than normal, but the Hilton is one of the few that aggressively prices its water villas to fill as many as possible. When you check prices for the dates you want to travel you might find them near their peak price if they are mostly filled up, but if there is still high availability the price is amazing, especially for a resort of this caliber.
A luxurious water villa at the Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Resort & Spa for US$339 per night for two people.
The rate is available for selected dates in the coming months only through our booking partner, Agoda. Check the Agoda page for the Hilton for your own dates. The rate includes a 20% early bird discount so it’s not available for last-minute bookings, but there is no minimum stay required to get the lowest rates.
Large water villas with all the amenities
There are several different classes of overwater villas at the Hilton Maldives, but even the smallest of them is quite large and is filled with all the luxury amenities you’d expect at a 5-star resort hotel. There is a Jacuzzi bathtub with a separate shower along with bathrobes and luxury bath accessories. There’s of course a flatscreen TV, a minibar, an in-room safe, and even free internet access.
This being the Maldives you can also expect a large private deck with daybeds and steps leading down into the turquoise lagoon, and a window in the floor of the villa itself so you can observe the sea life directly below your room.
The benefits of a large and well appointed resort
With a total of 80 water villas in addition to 70 rooms on the island, the Maldives Hilton is one of the larger private-island resorts, so it has much more to offer than most. There are 10 different restaurants and bars to choose from, so it’s easy to find a secluded place or a lively setting depending on your mood.
There’s also a beach with various water sports activities, many of which are complimentary for all guests. Of course there is snorkeling and scuba diving, and don’t forget about the Iru Fushi Spa, which has 20 individual spa pavilions offering a variety of massages and other treatments.
