Priding themselves on room choices offering views of a lifetime, the Kihaa Maldives Resort has 12 water villas to go along with 106 island rooms and suites. The water villas are unusual in that they don't allow anyone under 18, although the island itself does have a Kids Club and swimming pool, so it is a family-friendly resort otherwise.
The water villas come in two classes, both being huge and very well appointed. The resort operates on an all-inclusive basis with 3 restaurants and 3 lounges, and shortly after the opening the room rates are very appealing for what is included. This is also one of the very few resorts in the Maldives that has a nearby domestic airport, so guests can save money by taking a commercial flight instead of the sea-plane option.

To reach the Kihaa Maldives Resort you’ll need to fly to Malé International Airport in the Maldives. From there you’ll be met by hotel staff and helped aboard sea-plane for the 35 minute flight to the island itself.
Or you can transfer by domestic schedule flight operated by Island Aviation `Maldivian` within 20 minutes from International Ibrahim Nassir Airport – Male to Dharavaandhoo domestic Airport.
With mostly overwhelming good reviews, this resort seems to be a crowd favorite. Many reviews detail the staff, location and dining choices as good, great or fantastic. As a newer resort, most of the reviews claim it to be clean and well maintained, which is a great sign for the future.
There do seem to be a few guest who aren’t happy with their stay, but there aren’t enough of them to be a concern.
